Mentor Notes #154 - The inner work was preparing you for this!

Mentor Note #154

Mentor Note:

“The inner work was never meant to keep you inside yourself. It was preparing you to step forward differently.” - Sally Polihronas

Lets Dive in...

Hello Reader,

This lions gate energy has had me really reflecting this week, everyone has been manifesting their hearts out to create and expand their reality.

This is where I landed...

There are seasons when the most important work we can do is invisible.

We pause, reflect, heal and we become aware of the patterns, relationships and ways of being that no longer feel true. We learn to hear ourselves again, release what we have outgrown and slowly return to who we are beneath all the noise.

So much of this year has felt like that for many.

"But there comes a point when the inner work must become movement."

As we move through the doorway of this Leo eclipse and towards the final months of the year, I can feel the energy changing.

This is no longer just a time to understand ourselves more deeply. It is a time to create, express, expand and allow ourselves to be seen.

Leo energy reminds us of the courage of the heart, it's not about performance for approval, proving, or forcing. It's the courage to bring forward what is alive within us and let it take up space in the world, because reflection can become its own kind of hiding place.

We can keep waiting to feel completely ready, completely healed or completely certain. We can convince ourselves that one more insight, one more sign or one more round of inner work or following an influencers moon chant or prayer, will finally give us permission to begin.

But perhaps the next part of our growth will not come from thinking about who we are becoming, maybe, it will come from practising her.

By making the call, sending the proposal, writing the first page, returning to the idea, sharing the work, walking into the room, letting yourself want more and taking one honest step towards it.

The work you have done has not been wasted, it has created upheaval and changed the place you are moving from.

You are not stepping forward as the version of you who abandoned herself, over-explained, chased approval or tried to make everything safe for everyone else.

You get to move now with greater clarity, stronger boundaries and a deeper trust in yourself.

This is not a call to start rushing, it's a call to stop confusing stillness with safety.

Think of the door as open and let yourself move through it. FEARLESSLY AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOU!!

The Takeaway

There is a time for going inward, and there is a time for allowing what changed inside you to change the way you live, create and lead.

You do not need to have the whole path mapped out, you just need to stop withholding your momentum and move forward.

Something to Try

Take ten quiet minutes and answer these three questions:

  1. What is ready to move in my life now?
  2. What am I ready to create, express or be seen for?
  3. What is one visible action I can take in the next 48 hours?

Choose one action, not ten and put it in your calendar.

Do not wait for another sign.

Let the action become the sign that you are ready.

If anything, this is your sign.

If this note spoke to you, I would love you to help it travel a little further.

Mentor Note #153 Mentor Note: “Wisdom comes with winters.” - Oscar Wilde Lets Dive in... Hello Reader, I'm still in my 50 birthday energy, and as I sit here I know that I don't feel wiser because I have all the answers. I feel wiser because I am less willing to abandon what I already know. I have lived through enough seasons to recognise the difference between hope and denial. Between grace and self-abandonment, between caring for someone and carrying what was never mine to hold. This is the...

Mentor Note #152 Mentor Note: "Intuition whispers. Fear insists." - Sally Polihronas Lets Dive in... Hello Reader, There are moments in life when the hardest thing isn't making the decision. It's trusting yourself enough not to make it too quickly. This week I made a decision that had been quietly sitting with me for weeks, actually months. It wasn't a decision I wanted to rush. In fact, I was determined not to. I've learnt that some of the biggest mistakes we make happen when we confuse a...
