Mentor Note:
“Thoughts are mental energy; they’re the currency that you have to attract what you desire. You must learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don’t want.” - Dr Wayne Dyer
Lets Dive in...
Hello Reader,
Lately, my friends keep sending me old TikTok clips - I’m talking multiple times a week. Curiosity finally got the better of me, so I logged in… and wow. There they were: snippets from Popstars, plus an avalanche of interviews and performances.
I’d completely forgotten how epic that content would be in today’s social media climate. Watching it gave me flashbacks to my performing days - the late nights, the interactions, the non-stop schedule… and the energy I carried through it all. (Granted, I was a lot younger back then 🤣🤣).
When I was performing full-time, I didn’t yet have the language for “energetics” - but I knew the feeling.
There were days I could rehearse for hours, hit every note, dance every step… yet something felt flat. And there were other days when I walked into a room, barely warmed up, and the magic just flowed.
The difference? My energy state.
Creative work isn’t just skill, it’s transmission. You’re not only creating a song, a piece of art, a business offer, you’re transmitting your energy through it.
The more aligned, nourished, and intentional you are about how you feel, the more magnetic your work becomes.
When you’re burnt out, over-scheduled, or emotionally depleted, you can still produce, but it’s like playing music with one speaker blown, people can sense something’s missing.
Wellness isn’t just about being healthy; it’s about creating an energetic container where your creativity can actually thrive.
The Takeaway
Your body is the vessel, your energy is the current, your creativity is the expression. They are inseparable. Prioritising your wellness isn’t a “bonus” - it’s the foundation that allows your art and ideas to land with impact.
Your creativity will always rise to meet the level of energy you bring to it and that energy begins with your thoughts.
As Wayne Dyer said, “Thoughts are mental energy; they’re the currency that you have to attract what you desire. You must learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don’t want.”
When you dwell on stress, self-doubt, or overwhelm, you’re essentially investing your most valuable resource, energy - in places that drain you.
But when you consciously choose thoughts that fuel inspiration, possibility, and joy, you create an energetic environment where your ideas can flow freely and your creative work can truly shine.
Something to Try
The 10-Minute Energy Reset — Before starting your creative work, set a timer for 10 minutes and choose one of the following:
- Lay down and breathe deeply into your belly
- Stand barefoot on the grass or floor and imagine roots growing into the earth
- Dance or stretch to one song you love
Notice how your creative output changes afterward.

Little Reminders:
|
|
Hydrate
Start your day with hydration first, not coffee - water + a pinch of sea salt for better cell energy.

|
|
Don't Force - Flow
When you feel resistance, don’t push harder - shift your state first, then create.

Keep Track of The Good Days
Your best offers are born from your highest energy days. Track what you were doing, eating, and feeling on those days - then recreate those conditions before big creative projects.
