Lets Dive in...

Hello Reader,

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

I hope you are having a great break and that your celebrations have been full of love and joy.

My family and I have had a quiet Sydney Christmas this year. It's been really nice and relaxing.

The days between Christmas and New Year always feel a little different, don’t they? Not quite ending, not quite beginning. It's like this limbo period.

This quiet space is often overlooked, but it’s where real preparation happens - making room for what’s coming without rushing into it.

It’s a time to prepare for what’s coming.

Have you ever manifested something, only to feel overwhelmed when new possibilities start to show up?

You want clarity, creativity, or abundance - but sometimes, when opportunities appear, it feels like you can’t quite hold them. You get sick, sabotage or freak out.

That’s because before anything new can land, your nervous system needs to expand.
You need to be able to hold what is coming - your energy, your creativity, your desires - before it can fully arrive.

Capacity to receive is not about doing more.
It’s about being able to hold what you desire - ideas, opportunities, creativity, or light, without feeling overwhelmed.
If you can’t hold it, you can’t receive it.

The Takeaway

Expansion is the first step.
It begins inside - in your nervous system, your energy, your ability to hold more.
Before action, before planning, before results - you must be able to receive it.
If you cannot hold it, it cannot arrive.

Something to Try

This week, practice holding space for what wants to arrive.

Try this:

  • Find a quiet moment each day, even 5 –10 minutes.
  • Breathe deeply and notice where your body feels tight or contracted.
  • Imagine softening those areas, creating room inside yourself.
  • Mentally invite what you desire - opportunities, creativity, clarity - to arrive without forcing it.
  • Simply observe how it feels to receive without pushing.

No notes, no outcomes - just awareness.
Your ability to receive grows as you practice holding space.

In the weeks ahead, we’ll explore this idea of inner capacity more deeply - especially for women wanting to live and create in a way that feels aligned, not forced.

I appreciate you!

Until next week,

Much love,

Sally xx

Hello Reader, As the year quietly turns, I’ve noticed how different it feels to begin from a rested place rather than a rushed one. After some time away, slowing down a little, breathing deeper, and living a little more gently, I’ve been sitting with what really matters as we step into what’s next. And what keeps returning to me is this: The...

Hello Reader, As the year winds down, I always find myself noticing the quiet in those last few days - the space after the busyness, before everything starts again. I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to rush straight into “what’s next” without pausing to check in with ourselves. This space matters the most! Before any resolutions or plans take over, I...

Hello Reader, As the year winds down, I’ve noticed how often fear shapes our decisions, especially for creatives. I think about the moments I’ve stepped into something new - performances, projects, or personal challenges and how often the unknown felt intimidating. Yet those are exactly the moments that expanded my confidence, creativity, and capacity to grow....
