Mentor Note:
"A new season begins when your choices reflect the woman you have already become."
-Sally Polihronas
Lets Dive in...
Hello Reader,
Last week I wrote about the moment when inner work has to become movement.
I have stayed with that thought as we move towards spring, because when the weather changes and the end of year approaches often we start to freak out and that inner chatter starts. It's like the brain goes into auto pilot. Its Spring! time to start again, clear everything out, become more disciplined, create a new version of yourself, the house gets the clean out and the detoxes start for summer bodies.
But what if you do not need another reinvention?
What if the next season of your life is not asking you to become someone new, but to begin living as the woman you have already become?
I know you know who I am talking about, it's the version of you that quietly observes you. The quiet one, the inner knowing and the first thought before you change your mind.
Many spend years doing the inner work, you have reflected, healed, questioned old patterns and become more honest about what you want. If you have been reading these notes for 3 years the words, exercises and quotes may have crept into your subconscious and you have grown and changed within without even realising.
The notes have changed how you observe your life, how you process, what to accept and what not to accept. What's yours to carry and what isn't, what boundaries are safe to put into place and when you should take action and trust yourself, your talent, your intuition and who you are deep within.
You know what drains you and what matters, and most importantly you know which parts of yourself have been waiting for more growth.
The awareness is often already there but what has not always caught up are your choices.
You can know you need more space and continue filling every hour.
You know a creative idea matters and keep placing it at the bottom of the list.
You can know a relationship, role or routine no longer feels right and still move through it in the same familiar way.
This does not mean the growth was not real, it just means insight is only the beginning.
There comes a time when what we know inwardly needs to become visible in the way we live. Not necessarily through one dramatic decision, it often begins with something much smaller.
Protecting an hour, sending the email, returning to movement, wearing something that feels like you again, asking for help, saying no without explaining or finally making space for the idea that keeps returning.
These choices may look ordinary from the outside, but they are how a new life begins to take shape.
The woman you are becoming is not waiting somewhere in the future.
She is already present in what you recognise, what you desire and what you can no longer pretend not to know.
You meet her each time you make a choice that honours her.
Perhaps that is what spring can offer us this year, not pressure to grow and evlove or bloom on command, but an invitation to notice what is already alive and give it somewhere to grow.
The point of knowing yourself more deeply is not to spend your life endlessly working on yourself, it is to become free enough to live.
So instead of asking:
What else do I need to understand?
Perhaps the question is:
What do I already know, and what choice would allow me to live it?
You do not need to change everything before the next season.
One honest choice can be enough to show you that it already has.
The Takeaway
You may not need another breakthrough.
You may simply need to trust what your growth has already shown you.
A new season begins when something you know in your soul becomes visible in the way you live.

Something to Try
Choose one area of your life; your work, creativity, health, home or relationships, and ask yourself:
- What do I already know?
- What choice would reflect it?
- What is one visible action I can take this week?
Keep the action simple.
Book the appointment, clear the space, begin the page, protect the hour, make the call, put your name forward, return to something that makes you feel alive.
Let one choice become evidence that the next season of your life is not merely something you are waiting for, it has already begun.
I would love to know how these Mentor Notes have changed your life. I love hearing your stories. HIT REPLY and let me know.
I appreciate you!
Until next week,
Much love,
Sally xx
